I arrived home from a week away to a beautiful bouquet. The flowers were wrapped in hessian and tied up with a pink satin ribbon.

The flowers are from my boyfriend who had the them delivered to my house.

With the flowers came a small card with a message that put a big smile on my face.

‘Write her a letter, send her a flower, love only gets old if you allow it.’

With the British sun shining it couldn’t have been a more perfect day for a wedding.

I picked to wear a green 1940’s style tea dress from Topshop and vintage style nude heels. I accessorised with pearls and a needle point embroidered bag from Beyond Retro.

My date for the wedding was my boyfriend who looked dapper in his navy suit.

A extract from 1 Corinthians from the New Testament of the Bible was read in the ceremony and I loved the words.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

1 Corinthians 13

The sun was out in London today and what better way to enjoy it then sitting outside and eating sugary treats. I went to a one of the prettiest cake shops Peggy Porschen Cakes.

Peggy Porschen is a renowned cake designer known for her elegant, feminine style.

The menu caters for all your sweet tooth needs including freshly baked cupcakes and cookies. I picked a strawberry & champagne cupcake. Yum!

Hope you’ve had a sunkissed Saturday!

For those that know me know I am a daydreamer and I’m always wanting something more.

I’m currently looking for more exciting job opportunities within styling. Living in London I’m lucky enough to have a range of styling work I can get involved in whether it be in retail, e-commerce, fashion shows or editorial.

As you can tell from my blog my two passions are fashion and flowersI really want to work these two things together. I have been researching a bunch of floristry classes to enrol on early next year. I eventually would love to add styling flowers for weddings and photo shoots to my fashion styling work.

Any advice on floristry you may have, be sure to leave me a comment. I would love to hear your opinions.
