Playing with pretty flowers at Peggy Porschen

The summer sun has been blazing in recent weeks and here in London I am enjoying the heat. I enjoyed the sunshine at Peggy Porschen, a chic bakery based in Belgravia.

Once I ordered a cup of coffee and slice of strawberry and champagne cake, I got out the dried flower bouquet kit from Botany that I purchased recently.

The kit comes with all the stems you need to make a dried flower hand tied bouquet that will last. It also includes the Botany packaging so you can carefully wrap and present your bouquet to somebody special.

Flowers included in the kit: scabiosa pods, nigella pods, wheat, phalaris, poppies, leucadendron blush, eucalyptus, totem jubilee leucadendron and sanguisorba.

I used smaller, delicate blooms around the main flower to produce a fuller looking bouquet. I played around with the various flowers using different heights to create interest and texture.

I thoroughly enjoyed arranging this dried flower hand tied bouquet, learning new skills whilst making a beautiful arrangement.
