All dressed up and ready to go, I couldn’t have been more excited for my French themed date night with my love.
I picked to wear a floral bardot dress from Topshop, black lace up espadrilles and Swarovski pearl earrings. I finished my look with a vintage needle point embroidered bag.
We started the evening by eating dinner at Palm Court Brasserie, a traditional French restaurant in Covent Garden. Reminiscent of 1920’s art nouveau style, the dining room boasts effortless Parisian chic, echoing the popular Brasseries of some of Paris’s affluent arrondissements.
We then stopped of at Laduree, a upscale bakery specialising in French macarons in a number of flavours. I was treated to a box of macarons. Delicious!
We then walked across to the Dominion Theatre to watch An American In Paris, the breathtakingly beautiful new Broadway musical about love, hope and living your dreams. It was S’Wonderful!
‘You’ve made my life so glamorous. You can’t blame me for feeling amorous.’
