As I’m drinking my hot chocolate on this cloudy Monday morning I enjoy thinking of the great weekend I’ve just had with my family.
On Friday I attended the Victoria and Albert Museum with my mum to see the Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear exhibition. The exhibition explores the intimate relationship between underwear and fashion and its role in moulding the body to a fashionable ideal, with cut, fit, fabric and decoration revealing issues of gender, sex and morality.
Saturday me and my sister went on a shopping spree on Oxford Street. We enjoyed picking up pieces for our winter wardrobes in Topshop and finding great vintage in Beyond Retro. We finished the day buying cupcakes in Crumbs & Doilies.
I finished the weekend by having a home cooked meal on Sunday at my auntie and uncles house with my cousins, my sisters, mum and dad.
‘The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing.’
